Tickets

2017 Open Garden Squares Weekend Ticket prices are £13 in advance on line, available until midnight on Thursday 15th June 2017.

Tickets will be available on the weekend priced at £15.

Both tickets will give you access to the gardens on Saturday and Sunday.

Children under 12 go free (but will require their own ticket).

The Sunday-only ticket is priced at £10. This will not give access to any gardens on the Saturday.

Please be aware there are six gardens that can only be visited on guided tours. Details on how to visit these gardens will be released later on.

All tickets purchased on line will be issued as e-tickets. These will need to be printed out or available on a mobile device to show on the Weekend. You will also receive a link for the on-line guidebook and hard copies will be posted out from May onwards.

If you purchase your ticket after the posting deadline of Friday 2 June, you will need to collect your guidebook from either:

  • any garden that has them available over the weekend. (Please note, this may not be the first garden you visit)

  • at the City Information Centre, opposite St Paul's Cathedral

You will need to show your ticket as proof of purchase.

Buying Tickets in Person

You can buy tickets in person

If you buy a ticket in person, you will be given a ticket and guidebook.

Supporting London's Parks and Gardens

We aim to keep the ticket price as low as possible; but obviously we need to cover the costs of making the event happen (marketing, PR, producing the guidebook and so on). Ticket sales, along with sponsorship, contribute to this. If there is a surplus from the event, this is split between the participating gardens and the London Parks and Gardens Trust (the charity which organises the event). By supporting this event, you are contributing to the protection and maintenance of hundreds of green spaces across London.

Many gardens offer refreshments and activities. These are organised by the individual garden volunteers and any money raised through this type of activity goes to the individual garden or their chosen charity e.g. RNLI.
