We expect to return to the start points by about 5.30pm. Some participants may choose to leave or join the ride along the way.

As far as possible, the rides will go through quieter, characterful streets, many of which form part of the London Cycle Network.

The rides are free, but you will need an Open Garden Squares Weekend ticket to visit the gardens. If you have not already bought one, you can buy it on the morning for £12. It is valid for both days.

No need to book - just turn up.

Cycle Hire

Cycle Hire station Barclays Cycle Hire is ideal for short journeys between gardens in Zone 1.

There is now a dense network of cycle hire stations. We have shown these on the relevant maps.

For further details of Barclays Cycle Hire, please consult the Transport for London web site.

We do not recommend Barclays Cycle Hire for the group rides. This is because we are likely to go outside the area covered by the scheme.
