Description:
St. Botolph’s Church, set in the heart of the City of London, offers a small yet popular. green space, close to Liverpool Street Station and the offices around Bishopsgate. The area is made up of the churchyard of St Botolph without Bishopsgate and land donated by the Common Council in 1760.

The current church dates from 1725-8, and escaped with little damage during the Second World War, losing only the west window. To the west of the church is what used to be a primary school, indicated by stone figures of schoolchildren made in 1821.

Nearby are the eye-catching Moorish former Victorian Turkish Baths, which now function as a restaurant. The garden also contains netball and tennis courts, which can be booked for hire.
