Description:
Victorian walled garden built in 1899 for the Duchess of Sutherland, this has formal lawns, with rose beds, an unusual rockery – built recently by volunteers – and flower borders. There are two ponds and a children's area featuring a Teddy Bears' Picnic. Wildlife is encouraged, with bird boxes and feeders. Visitors are encouraged to sit and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this secluded garden.
