Description:
Beautiful ornamental gardens by Browning's Pool in Little Venice, with an array of colourful flowers on the canal side. In 1975, 5,000 tulips and 500 hyacinths were donated to the gardens to mark the 700th anniversary of the foundation of the City of Amsterdam. In the same year the gardens were renamed Rembrandt Gardens.
The gardens are an attractive link between W2 and W9.
Bronze certificate winners in the Large Public Squares category of the 2003 London Squares Competition. Green Flag winner 2007-8 and 2008-9.
Entrance:
South end of Warwick Avenue; can also be reached over a footbridge from a canalside path between London Street and Westbourne Terrace Road.
