The gardens at Linden Lodge School are specially designed to support the education, development, and independence of its visually impaired and multi-disabled pupils.

The exterior of the main building remains much as it was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1934, and the rose garden has been meticulously restored to Gertrude Jekyll's original design. The Woodland Walk allows children to feel the freedom of the wilderness within a setting crafted to maximise safety and accessibility. The Sensory Garden is a highly appealing environment which aids in the children’s development through a variety of interactive features and sculptural elements.
