Description:
In 1984 local residents started to grow vegetables on a 1.5-acre plot of wasteland, beginning the present community garden.
Apart from a few existing trees, the whole garden has been created and maintained by residents. The garden is divided into several areas including a wildlife area, pond and a playground.
New features this year include a mosaic wall, extended mosaic paths and new benches.
Activities:
Tea and cakes. Music. Jumble and other stalls 2-5pm.
