Description:
Gordon Square was built in 1829 by Thomas Cubitt on land leased from the Bedford Estate. The delightful garden retreat has fine mature plane trees, extensive shrubberies and lawns.
Many of the buildings later became part of the University of London, which manages it today. The garden was recently refurbished with the aid of a Heritage Lottery Fund grant.
Activities:
The Bloomsbury Woodwind Ensemble and BWE2 will perform 2pm–4pm. Café.
