Description:
The Estorick Collection was formed by Eric Estorick (1913-1993) and his wife Salome (1920-1989) during the 1950s, and is known internationally for its core of Futurist works, as well as Italian figurative painting and sculpture from 1895 to the 1950s.
Based in a Grade II-listed Georgian villa on Canonbury Square, the Estorick Collection has a small walled garden that was redesigned at the time the museum opened in 1998 and features a striking modern sculpture by Edward Dutkiewicz (1961-2007) and an Italian café with indoor and outdoor seating.
