Journey Planner

A 1.2-acre community garden, which opened in 1984 after local residents campaigned against the sale of the land for development.

Today it includes a Walter Segal self-build community building, an under-fives’ area, a wild garden, community composting area, Bangladeshi womens' plots, family plots and the only outdoor AstroTurf futsal pitch in the country at present.

We have also developed a food-growing area with raised beds and large polytunnel for use by local people, schools and other community groups.
