Cable Street Community Gardens E1

Cable Street Community Gardens

Open:
Sunday 10:00–17:00
Description:
A well-established community garden situated in the heart of a busy inner-city area. We have over 50 plots, tended individually by members and their families. We also have wildlife areas, several small ponds, a traditional British hedgerow, a sensory garden under development and, most recently, a small greenhouse.

We are community-based and run with no paid workers. All are welcome to enjoy this peaceful haven in the heart of the city.
Activities:
Guided walks around the gardens. Local history talks (11am and 2 pm). Light refreshments. Home-made produce. Craft stalls. Plants for sale.
