The Garden

The Skip Garden is a mobile food garden on the King’s Cross development site. The garden serves as an educational platform where local children, young people and business volunteers work together on tangible projects to improve local sustainability. It is a unique space where food and wildlife-friendly plants grow out of skips and containers. The garden is a Capital Growth training hub and an exciting example of organic urban agriculture on one of Europe’s largest development sites. Home-made cakes will be available in the organic vegetarian café. There is also a hive, a growing skip and a recycled window glasshouse to admire.
