The Garden

Red House garden and orchard surround the only house commissioned, created and lived in by William Morris, founder of the Arts and Crafts movement. The gardens have been designed to form an extension of the house and planned with as much detail as the interiors. Red House’s gardens today reflect the many different owners that have lived at Red House, with the National Trust working to return the gardens to Morris’ original design.
