The Garden

The Olden Community Garden (Registered charity 115805) is five minutes' walk from the Emirates Stadium. It is a haven for wildlife, an oasis of quiet amidst the hustle and bustle of Highbury and Islington. It is a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation (Grade 1 - Borough).

The garden, run by volunteers, covers over two acres of open space off Whistler Street and Drayton Park, on a former railway embankment.  There is a formal garden, which is fully accessible, a woodland, an orchard, a wildflower meadow and veg. growing spaces.  It has a disabled person's toilet and a small Garden House.
